Overall panel: 5–65 mm
Overall thickness describes the complete bonded panel. It includes both aluminum skins, the honeycomb core and bonding layers.
Thickness guide
A panel described as 5 mm thick is not made from one 5 mm aluminum sheet. It is a sandwich construction with a front skin, honeycomb core and back skin.

Overall thickness describes the complete bonded panel. It includes both aluminum skins, the honeycomb core and bonding layers.
Front and back aluminum skins are specified independently. The two sides may use the same or different thicknesses.
A confirmed 5 mm combination uses a 1.0 mm front skin and 1.0 mm back skin, with the remaining internal height approximately 3 mm.
Foil thickness describes the aluminum used to form the honeycomb cells. It is not the same measurement as the core height or overall panel thickness.
The 3 × 3, 4 × 4, 5 × 5 and 6 × 6 mm options refer to the side length of each hexagonal honeycomb cell.
Two panels with the same overall thickness may use different skin configurations. State all three values in the inquiry: overall, front skin and back skin.
